Tam's Hair

Welcome to my webpage! I was born in 1957 and live in Southern California. The last time I cut my hair to ear length was in 1994. I have trimmed my hair many times since, sometimes as much as 6".

What you see in these photos is my own natural color and curl. At last measurement my hair was about 46 inches (June 2004) from forehead to tips.

Hair care:
I am currently using "Mane N' Tail" shampoo and conditioner, and after conditioning I spritz my hair with a small amount of vinegar water, then rinse it out very well. I use so little of this that a 2oz bottle lasts me about 3 months. The formula is: 2oz essential rosemary herbal water which I distill myself ( www.heartmagic.com ) mixed with 1tsp apple-cider vinegar.

I use a wide tooth Madora comb for detangling my hair both wet and dry. I stopped using any kind of hairbrush in early 2004, which has improved my hair quality dramatically!

After detangling my damp hair I use a small amount of a custom essential oil blend created by my good friend Ariel ( www.blisssville.com ) to seal and protect my hair.
I use about 5 drops rubbed in my palms; starting at the longest ends I gently press it into my hair, working my way up until my hands are dry.

I air dry my hair in a single braid to prevent tangling. My hair will not see a comb again for about 5 days until I detangle again before I wash it.
